Welcome. Piney Orchard Nature Preserve in Anne Arundel County, Maryland is the result of wetland restoration efforts begun in 1987. The 100-acre Preserve includes wetlands, woodlands, open grassy areas, sandy dry stream beds, and freshwater ponds. Approximately 5 miles of walking trails and paved bike trails give residents access to the Preserve and connect with the many paved paths within the larger community of Piney Orchard.
